Bernard Chesneau experienced skiing as the vehicle to individual freedom at age five. He was hooked before he turned six. Bernard became a ski instructor in 1975, after studying Math and Physics.

Bernard focuses on communicating the experience of skiing by removing physical and mental imbalances encountered whilst skiing; replacing “wobbly thoughts” with powerful, focused intentions. He draws on the work of top motivation trainers such as Anthony Robbins, Alexander Christiani and Jean Taylor with whom he co created the Ski Wizdom audiotape programme.

Bernard quickly became recognised as a leading actor of “mental” training for skiers, and founded the Mountain Masters ski school in Val d’Isère (France).

His dedication to skier biomechanics led him to be the exclusive importer of the Cant Company’s patented evaluators and cants. To widen the scope of his business, he founded Alignment Technology Ltd in 1998, and developed skier alignment to new heights by introducing applied kinesiology, a skill he acquired with Matthew Bennett, director of the Sundial House Chiropractic Clinic in Brighton UK. Qualified as French national coach, Bernard's advanced ski mechanic skills come from Mauro Angilante, top Italian ski trainer and author of two theses on ski mechanics.

Bernard Chesneau is now the recognised leader and authority in the field of skier alignment.  He contributes regularly to the French ski racing magasine L'Entraineur du Ski Alpin.  He is consulted from time to time by Rossignol race team trainer Michel Gros. He has also been a speaker at the prestigious Colloque-Medico-Technique Conference in Grenoble.
